Driver Hits Pedestrian on Mulberry Avenue, Takes Off

A driver in a Ford Focus hatchback hit a woman walking on Mulberry Avenue near W 11th Street in Millville around 6:40 PM Thursday, then drove off southbound toward 11th Street.

She was seen limping after being struck; her full condition is unknown. The driver had reportedly threatened the person who called it in before leaving. Officers searched the surrounding neighborhoods but could not find the car, described over the air as gray or green.

This is the second pedestrian struck in Bay County on Thursday, after a woman was hit at 14th Street and Ohio Avenue in Lynn Haven.
