Apartment Fire in Lynn Haven Sends One to Ambulance

Firefighters were called to a first-alarm apartment fire on New York Avenue near E 14th Street in Lynn Haven around 7:22 PM Thursday. A caller reported one unit on fire with black smoke and said everyone had gotten out of the building; crews arrived to moderate smoke showing from the single-story building.

One person was taken to an ambulance for smoke inhalation. Crews were also told two cats might be inside a neighboring unit.
