Emerald Coast Bookings (emeraldcoastbookings.com) is an independent, privately operated public-records directory for Northwest Florida. This page explains what data we hold and how to request its deletion.

What data we hold

  • Public-record booking information – arrest logs, booking photos, and charge details obtained from public government sources under Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes.
  • Analytics and cookies – standard, anonymized site-usage data used to keep the site fast and secure, including data collected by our advertising partner (Monumetric) as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Correspondence – emails and contact-form messages you send us.

How to request deletion of your data

For general personal data (correspondence, analytics, or Facebook/Meta app data), email contact@emeraldcoastbookings.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request – [Your Full Name]" and tell us what you want deleted. We will confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete verified requests within 30 days.

Arrest booking photographs follow a separate, faster track under Florida Statute 901.43 – see the next section.

Booking record and mugshot removal (Florida Statute 901.43)

Removal of an arrest booking photograph is its own process, separate from the 30-day general request above:

  • Who can request: any person whose arrest booking photograph appears on this site, or their legal representative. No court outcome (dismissal, expungement, or acquittal) is required.
  • How: email contact@emeraldcoastbookings.com with the subject line “Record Removal Request – [Full Name]” and give us the full name on the record, the approximate arrest date and the page URL. We do not ask for ID or court documents. Florida Statute 901.43 describes a registered-mail request to the publisher’s registered agent with proof of identification; we waive those formalities and accept email.
  • Timeline and cost: we confirm within 24 hours and respond and remove the photograph within 5 business days, always free. We never charge a fee to review or remove a record, and we do not republish removed photographs.
