Second Elevator Rescue of the Night on Panama City Beach

For the second time Wednesday evening, fire crews were called to free people stuck in a beach elevator – this time three people at the Beachcomber by the Sea on Front Beach Road around 8:37 PM.

Crews had cleared a similar entrapment at Gulf Crest Condominiums about an hour earlier. Both are routine calls for beach high-rises, and crews report everyone out.

Preliminary scanner traffic, transcribed and mapped by Emerald Coast Bookings – not an official report. Details can change as agencies release confirmed information. Names are published only when released by authorities.
