Map: GAS LEAK CONFIRMED AT BEACH RESTAURANT

Gas leak confirmed at Sharky’s on Front Beach Road. Fire crews were called to Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant around 7:55 AM Saturday, and an inspector on scene confirmed a definite gas odor and worked to get the gas shut off.

No injuries were mentioned in scanner traffic. It was one of several storm-damage calls on the beach this morning, with downed lines also blocking parts of Front Beach Road nearby, so expect crews and slow traffic in the area.
