Map: Crestview mom and two daughters charged in car wash attack

A Crestview mother arrested after last week’s slow-roll police chase was not just avoiding a traffic stop, court records show – she and her two daughters are now charged in a group attack on a woman at a Crestview car wash, all of it captured on the business’s surveillance cameras.

According to a Crestview Police Department arrest affidavit, the confrontation began around 4:53 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Ronny’s Car Wash, 419 N. Ferdon Blvd., where the victim was cleaning her vehicle. She told officers that Kayla Siler, 34, first pulled up in a black sedan and told her, “You ride by today, bitch, I promise you going die.” Minutes later, a black 2016 Cadillac registered to Connie Siler pulled up so close it nearly struck the victim’s car.

The victim said all three women got out arguing while she stayed inside her vehicle repeating that she did not want to fight. According to the affidavit, Camryn Siler, 26, shoved her hard enough that her head struck the interior of the car, the group slammed the door against her body while her legs were still in the doorway, and all three punched her more than 25 times. She told officers she believes she lost consciousness during the attack. She said the dispute with Camryn had been simmering for months, including prior threats and Camryn showing up at her workplace seeking to fight her.

Two witnesses backed her account – one cleaning his own car in the same lot, another watching from a business across the street – and the car wash’s manager turned over surveillance footage that police say shows the three repeatedly striking the victim and restricting her ability to leave while she was inside her vehicle. Hospital discharge paperwork later documented a suspected broken rib, an internal head injury/concussion, and a bone contusion to her left pinky finger, according to the affidavit.

The chase began within minutes. A second affidavit says Officer Joshua Greene, leaving the car wash with a witness’s photo of the suspect Cadillac, spotted it on North Brett Street and initiated a stop near Industrial Drive and North Main Street. Connie Siler, the sole occupant, flipped on her hazard lights but kept driving – roughly 1,700 feet past six open parking lots, seven side streets and alleys, three open fields and dozens of empty parking stalls, with the patrol car’s lights and sirens running – until she stopped in her own front yard.

Asked why she did not stop, Siler told the officer she wanted him to follow her home, that she could keep driving if she did not feel safe, and that “the only place she feels safe is her home,” according to the affidavit.

Connie Siler, 60, is charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm as a principal, false imprisonment, and conspiracy to commit a second-degree felony in the attack case (2026-CF-001888-C), and with fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer with lights and sirens active in the chase case (2026-CF-001890-C). Camryn Siler is charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and third-degree felony conspiracy (2026-CF-001905-C). Kayla Siler is charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and third-degree felony conspiracy (2026-CF-001906-C).

All three are represented by the public defender. A pretrial detention hearing is set for Oct. 1 before Judge Oberliesen, with arraignment scheduled for Oct. 29. Connie Siler was booked into the Okaloosa County Jail on Sept. 24; her daughters were booked Sept. 27. Arrest paperwork lists Connie Siler’s employer as Davidson Middle School in Crestview, and the school’s online staff directory lists her as a math teacher.
