Aircraft Emergency Response at ECP

Fire and rescue crews staged at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport around 6:38 AM Thursday after an aircraft emergency was reported. Multiple units, including a battalion chief, set up a unified command with airport personnel and a staging area on the airfield.

No injuries or road impacts have been reported, and details on the aircraft were not yet available. It comes ten days after a small plane overran the runway at the same airport on Sept. 7; both occupants were unhurt in that incident.
