A Rutherford High School teacher is charged with battery after investigators say she threw a pair of scissors at a student.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year-old Juanita Forehand was arrested Friday. Investigators said the scissors were thrown to get the student’s attention, striking the student in the back, and witnesses told investigators they saw the scissors make contact.
