Severe Street Flooding Reported in Panama City Neighborhoods

Severe flooding is being reported in Panama City neighborhoods as the storm continues. Between about 7:10 and 8:05 PM Friday, dispatch aired reports that the 900 block of Forest Dale was completely flooded and the 1000 block of Huntington, extending to East Avenue, appeared completely underwater.
A tree was also reported intermittently hitting power lines on Highway 98, and traffic lights were malfunctioning at Harrison Avenue and US-98 and on the westbound overpass near Florida Avenue. Don’t drive through flooded streets – turn around.
